An eight week journey of seeking God as we read.think.pray.live our way through the gospel of John
An Invitation
Please join us during this lead up to Christmas 2009 by doing the four things listed below. Anyone can join at any time throughout this 8 week period although obviously it would be best if you can begin with us on the first of November 2009.
Requirements:
1. Commit to seeking God EVERY DAY in Nov & Dec '09 in a way that is more radical than anything you have ever done before.
2. Read.think.pray.live your way through the Gospel of John in seven weeks (3 chapters each week) and then 1 John, 2 John, 3 John in the final week.
3. Listen to the Holy Spirit and obey whatever he says to do!!
4. Contribute your insights and experiences to this blog.
May we all continue to seek the Kingdom of God before anything else!

Sorry - for those on the blog who don't know me FTF, I'm in Perth, Western Australia. I'm married with 4 kids. Very much wanting to listen to the Lord and obey, to see His Kingdom advance in this part of the world... To WAKE UP!!! Me included. Was just saying briefly to Andrew today that I can see that I need a new brain...really new/different thoughts and thought patterns. May the Lord transform us all, renewing our minds as we read and seek Him. Mind of Christ. That's my prayer.

Like workers in the vineyard we have come to the party a bit late...but have been on the journey with you this week in digging deeper into John...
have been very conscious of seeking after God in a new and fresh way, my wife Kate is also on the journey too...
some key revelations for us so far have been...
..firstly get out of bed earlier!! (and turn the tv off more too!)
John 1 - make straight the way of the Lord...we are called to do this like John...
Two of John's disciples turned and followed Jesus....our allegiance is not to a denomination or a leader...our allegiance is to Jesus...and our role is to turn others not to a denomination or leader either...but to Jesus...
