Thought...

This came to me while thinking [again] about Matthew 25 which often has been on my mind in the last couple of years...

People may not be able to see Jesus in me until I start seeing Jesus in them!

Hello dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

You know, .... alot of the time I have no problem seeing the characteristics of Jesus Christ and the fruits of the Holy Spirit in others (even when they are not there!). It is in myself, I have trouble seeing it, despite what my head knows to be true and feedback from others.

I know I can be SO much more for GOD, our heavenly father, if I could just learn to see myself as HE sees me.

Anyone else relate?

I do understand in that he sees so much more that we do. He has given us so much more than we use to serve him. We always need to walking in the light of who we are in Christ, grasping the fullness and riches of all he has given us.

There are a couple of songs that I love:
"I am covered over with the robe of righteousness that Jesus gives to me.
I am covered over by the precious blood of Jesus, and He lives in me.
What a joy it is to know my heavenly Father loves me so He gives to me my Jesus!
When He looks at me He sees not what I used to be but He sees Jesus."

It always amazes me. That is how God sees me!

Another that I love is:

"I will change your name
You shall no longer be called
Wounded, outcast
Lonely or afraid

I will change your name
Your new name shall be
Confidence, joyfulness
Overcoming one
Faithfulness, friend of God
One who seeks my face."

I am sure you ARE learning more and more to see yourself as he sees you.
