With only two days to go in this particular journey I wanted to emphasize some words of Jesus from day 6 - Luke 6: "Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say? I will show you what he is like who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice. He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete."
May we live what we have read; practice what we have heard and continue to encourage each other on our ongoing journey.

What a journey... imagine knowing what was going to happen if people did not listen - and being forced to endure the wind and waves of their stubbornness! 276 people - imagine how many were violently ill...
Good old Luke - he is prosaic and factual in his account - but he was there - so I imagine he was pretty busy!
This is just another accont that illustrates how God brings the things He has foretold into reality even when the route is definitely NOT the one we would have taken!
TRUST!!!
Let God be God!
