There is always the temptation to come back under law! It happened back in the early church with the issue of circumcision and it happens today in so many forms.
In his book, "Living in the grace of God", Rob Rufus says:
"Grace releases us from the oppression of people's opinions, it nullifies Satan's accusations and it evaporates guilt and regret.
Grace sets us free to be what God created us to be - an enthusiastic, joyful, spontaneous, unpredictable, risk-taking and secure people."
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free! May we live each day in the real experience of God's grace and freedom.

Amen to the freedom and also - the reminder that we are not perfect this side of heaven.
There will be disagreements (V38 & 39). Sometimes parting of ways. These can be very hurtful and trying. They act as reminder to how imperfect we are - how much we need His grace DAILY!!
Hi all,
Back from the USA and somewhat on this timezone. My VPN wasn't working so I have been off the web for the last week.
One things for sure, there are plenty of churches in Alabama. I hope God has something good coming up for them.
Acts 14 &15 remind me that it's so easy to stay in the old groove - tied to the traditions, sometimes being being cynical, critical or in outward opposition to the new things that God purposes. Grace makes things so simple - too simple for the Jews it seems. Me, I'm looking forward to the new things and don't want to be distracted and miss it.
Welcome back Garry :)
Heidi Baker keeps saying that we have an amazing ability to "over-complicate" things and that it is important to keep things simple.
Simplify is the key, I reckon! (well, one of the keys anyway!)
