Welcome to this 52 day journey of seeking God, his kingdom and his guidance in our lives!
It is a journey of digging back into the days when Jesus walked this earth, looking again with fresh eyes at his life, his teaching and the things he did.
It is a journey of engaging with the very first church in Acts to discover again what they valued and how they lived.
It is a journey of reflecting on the lives of Rolland and Heidi Baker as they live and love in Mozambique, Africa in 2007. Why are they seeing many thousands of churches planted and people being healed and raised from the dead? What can we learn from them?
It is a journey we are taking together. I believe we learn more with others in community as we share, encourage, pray and question together than by just reading and praying ourselves. Whether we are meeting on Tuesday nights or at some other time...whether with two or ten people...or whether your interaction is with others on this blog, my prayer is that God would encourage and inspire each of us with renewed passion and purpose as we prepare for 2008.

An eight week journey of seeking God as we read.think.pray.live our way through the gospel of John
An Invitation
Please join us during this lead up to Christmas 2009 by doing the four things listed below. Anyone can join at any time throughout this 8 week period although obviously it would be best if you can begin with us on the first of November 2009.
Requirements:
1. Commit to seeking God EVERY DAY in Nov & Dec '09 in a way that is more radical than anything you have ever done before.
2. Read.think.pray.live your way through the Gospel of John in seven weeks (3 chapters each week) and then 1 John, 2 John, 3 John in the final week.
3. Listen to the Holy Spirit and obey whatever he says to do!!
4. Contribute your insights and experiences to this blog.
May we all continue to seek the Kingdom of God before anything else!

I am looking forward to the days ahead. I hope to really press into God, to learn what he want's for my life. I hope to be inspired by Heidi & Rolland Baker. I cling to my life & find it hard to know what's beyond that. I am excited about this blog, to read & share with all you guys. I pray that God would reveal himself to us & meet us where we are at individually. love narelle
Andrew you know what a Control Freak I am - so I am glad I have come into this late! Not enough time to think about what I am expecting! maybe I can just let go - and let God be God! About time! No seriously - after no-one who was looking for another time to join in contacted me - I had thought - OK there are no options for me to be part of this. So thanks for the mail and the blog. I am looking forward to encouragement along the way!

My hopes and expectations over the next 51 days?
Hopes? None ..... because I KNOW GOD will 'deliver' and provide as he has always done ... so don't need to 'hope'!
Expectations?
That I will continue to grow in faith, encourage and be an encourager of others.
That I will learn through this journey (as I already have as per yesterdays comment from Rosaleen)
